AXS partners with Seattle indie music venues

Ticketing company AXS has partnered with Seattle music venues Neumos and Barboza, which will now utilise the AXS app.

The AXS app manages ticketing across the AXS portfolio, including Showbox and Marymoor Park, which are also venues in Seattle.

Jason Lajeunesse, co-owner and managing member of Neumos, said: “Our goal was to find a partner that would provide world-class service to our fans and take our full ticketing experience to the next level.

“Our fans used to search through a million different apps to manage concert tickets. By launching AXS Mobile ID across our venues, our fans can easily buy, sell and transfer all AXS tickets in one app.”

The app will also supply Neumos with data and insights to personalise the fan experience, as well as aid in-business decision making.

Lajeunesse said: “We needed deeper levels of data and analytics to match the diverse shows we book night after night. Understanding demographics and what people engage with on a deeper level is crucial as we continue to bring the shows people know and love.

“AXS is bringing-cutting edge technology to a sector that has been underserved for far too long and it’s clear that AXS understands the needs of an independent venue.”

Rob Sine, chief revenue officer for AXS, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Neumos and Barboza to our growing family of venues in the Pacific Northwest. As one of the most prominent indie venues for over 20 years, we are excited to outfit them with the latest ticketing technology to support their venues and fans.”
