Discovery and mobile ticketing platform Dice has launched in Germany with the aim of taking on ticket touts and providing a safe way for fans to discover live events and buy tickets.
There are over 350 shows now available in-app in Germany including concerts from artists such as Bicep, Little Simz, Years & Years and Marc Rebillet. To support its growth in the country, Dice has partnered with artists, promoters and venues including Goodlive Artists, Z|Art Agency and Uebel & Gefährlich, which is one of Hamburg’s busiest venues and has two performance rooms with a 900 and 200 capacity.
The partnership with Goodlive Artists means that Dice will become the primary ticketing partner for events across major German cities including Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg and Munich. Goodlive Artists is the concert and tour promoter division of live entertainment company Goodlive.
By working with Berlin-based music promoter Z|Art Agency, users of the Dice platform will have access to tickets for acts such as Sam Fender and Ben Howard. The partnership also means that music fans can purchase tickets to events like the Sacred Ground Festival.
The Dice app locks tickets to smartphones, eliminating ticket touts and ensuring fair and transparent pricing for tickets. Dice also offers a waiting list which is activated when a show sells out, offering fans the chance to go to an event for a fair price without having to trawl through secondary resale sites.
