Professional American football minor league XFL has named Lisa Feigenbaum as senior vice-president of ticketing.
Fiegenbaum will oversee the planning and development of XFL’s ticket sales, services and operations for the league and each of the eight teams. She will report to Janet Duch, chief marketing and content officer.
In this role, Feigenbaum will oversee a full suite of ticketing products, including season memberships, group tickets, premium and individual game tickets, while also managing packaging, pricing and retention strategies.
“We are thrilled to have Lisa join our team to lead our ticketing strategy. Her experience in driving revenue through ticket sales and partnerships and industry knowledge in creating non-traditional revenue streams will be essential for the XFL as we look to build strong partnerships in the communities that our teams will call home,” said Russ Brandon, president of the XFL.
Lawrence Peryer has been named reservation technology platform Lyte’s new chief commercial officer.
Peryer was previously Lyte’s chief strategy officer and will oversee a team concentrating on the platform’s business results. He will focus on revenue functions including research and analysis, business development, partnership sales, solutions and client services.
Elsewhere, and former Ticketmaster business development manager and industry stalwart Chris Belt has joined Kaizen Ticketing as sales director.
Belt boasts a long career in the ticketing industry, having been the head of ticketing at Premier League football clubs Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, before joining Ticketmaster in 1995 where he stayed for almost 26 years.
Managing director of Kaizen David Lynam said in a LinkedIn post: “I’m beyond excited what this will mean for the development of Kaizen Ticketing over the coming years.
“We’re at the start of a very exciting new chapter. The dream team continues to take shape.”
Goldenvoice has announced Mark Girton (pictured left) as the vice-president of special events at Empire Polo Club – the venue that plays host to Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival, and its country music counterpart, Stagecoach.
As Girton moves into his new role, Stacy Benaderet will take on his prior duties at AEG Presents, owner of the Los Angeles-based concert promoter and live event company. Benaderet previously served in the role of vice-president of sales and marketing for AEG Presents’ special events venues.
Shawn Trell, executive vice-president and chief operating officer, AEG Presents, said: “Mark brings a wealth of experience within our company and the industry to this new position; he’s the perfect candidate to ensure we continue to develop and expand our business in the desert.
“Stacy was the obvious choice to step into Mark’s role. She has the vision, skills, and drive to bring real opportunities to this area of our business. I couldn’t be more proud to see Mark and Stacy in these critical roles at each company.”
Live entertainment company Global Creatures has appointed Thom Sellwood as UK sales and ticketing director.
Sellwood was previously sales and ticketing manager, and head of sales and ticketing at theatre company, Hartshorn – Hook Enterprises.
Stephane Pottier is the new general manager of Arena Futuroscope, a performing arts theatre in Chassenneuil-du-Poitou, France.
Pottier started his new role in April and has previous experience in stadium and arena management, having been the vice-president, stadium and arena management solutions for sports marketing agency Lagardère Sports for eight years.
Entertainment, events and venue management company ASM Global has revealed Martin McInulty (pictured right) as general manager of first direct Arena in Leeds, UK.
McInulty has worked at the venue for five years, where he was in the role of head of operations. He has 20 years of experience working in the events and entertainment industry.
Marie Lindqvist, senior vice-president operations Europe, ASM Global, said: “I am very pleased that we have appointed Martin McInulty as the new General Manager for our state-of-the-art arena in Leeds.
“Martin joined the team in Leeds in 2017 and has been instrumental in developing the arena to become hugely popular among fans, bands and promoters. With our strong team in Leeds, Martin’s long and broad experience and his passion for the arena and the community I am truly excited about the future for first direct Arena.”
