Live Nation Canada has expanded its presence in gambling in the country through a new collaboration with GGPoker that will offer gamblers in Ontario the chance to win Ticketmaster gift cards.
GGPoker will become Live Nation Canada’s official online poker partner through the deal, which comes soon after Live Nation teamed up with Great Canadian Entertainment to bring leading music and comedy acts to its gambling venues across the country.
As part of this collaboration between GGPoker and Live Nation, players can compete to win $5,000 in Ticketmaster Gift Cards (10 x $500 cards) weekly via the free-to-play ‘GG x Ticketmaster Gift Cards Freeroll’ online poker tournaments.
GGPoker is the largest online poker room in the world by volume of cash game traffic.
Sarne Lightman, GGPoker’s managing director, said: “We are thrilled to join forces with Live Nation Canada as their official online poker partner. This collaboration allows us to enhance the overall experience for our players by providing them with access to incredible live events alongside their favourite poker games.”
Last month, Great Canadian, which operates 25 properties in Canada, including casinos and race tracks, named Live Nation Canada as its exclusive booking agent, and the two companies will jointly promote the programming.
