English Premier League club Chelsea has partnered with ticket marketplace Vivid Seats for its American pre-season tour.

Chelsea’s tour started last night (Wednesday) against Welsh club Wrexham, which is set to play its football in English League Two after being promoted from the National League last season.

The London club will then face fellow Premier League sides Brighton at Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia; Newcastle United at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and Fulham at FedEx Field in Summerfield, Maryland. The tour will end with a match against German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Throughout the US tour, Chelsea supporters will find Vivid Seats branding on digital platforms and in stadiums. For the first time, Chelsea will also offer its Club Chelsea hospitality overseas, with a limited number of premium VIP packages across each location.

As part of the pre-season tour partnership, Vivid Seats Rewards members will have the opportunity to experience these premium packages, as well as additional perks such as access to open training sessions.

“We are pleased to join with a company committed to becoming the ultimate partner for connecting fans to the live events, teams and artists they love,” said John Rogers, Chelsea’s head of global partnerships.

Geoff Lester, chief commercial officer at Vivid Seats, added: “We are thrilled to partner with Chelsea on their pre-season tour to the USA. As we continue to witness the rise of soccer fandom across America, we look forward to expanding our brand awareness among this growing audience, while strengthening our engagement efforts through our industry leading loyalty programme.”
