88rising’s Head In The Clouds festival expands into China

Head In The Clouds festival from 88rising has revealed its expansion into Guangzhou, China.

The festival from the hybrid management, record label, video production and marketing company traditionally focuses on Asian artists and will venture into China for the first time in September. 

The line-up and venue are yet to be revealed, but the Guangzhou edition will be a two-day affair on September 23 and 24.

Head In The Clouds also expanded into Jakarta, Indonesia and Manila in the Philippines in 2022.

Earlier this year, Head In The Clouds also headed over to New York for the first time. 88rising’s flagship festival first took place in Los Angeles in 2018. 

The label will also return to Jakarta, Indonesia on September 9 with a new event, 88 Degrees and Rising. Hometown artists such as NIKI, Rich Brian, Warren Hue and Stephanie Petri are set to perform. 

88rising is due to host a special showcase as part of the entertainment offering at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix on September 15.
