English Championship football club Millwall has made the switch to e-ticketing ahead of the 2023-24 season.

The club said it has introduced e-ticketing to reduce queueing time at The Den’s ticket office, while also making entry into the 20,000-capacity stadium easier for fans.

E-ticketing was available for the first time ahead of Millwall’s pre-season friendly against Charlton Athletic earlier this week.

Fans will still be able to print their ticket at home and scan the QR code at the stadium’s turnstiles.

Millwall is set to begin its Championship campaign away at Middlesborough on August 5.

Earlier this year, fellow Championship club Sunderland AFC said it would introduce digital season tickets for the 2023-24 season.

The club then revealed that it had appointed APT SKIDATA as its new partner for access control at the Stadium of Light in a five-year deal.
