Eleven Spanish Primera Federación football clubs have taken inspiration from top tier teams and have agreed to offer away tickets capped at €15 (£13/$16).

The Primera Federación is the third tier of Spanish football, and each club will discuss the number of tickets that will be made available at this maximum price, depending on infrastructures and stadium capacities.

SD Logroñés made the announcement in a statement.

The 11 clubs include CE Sabadell, Unionistas de Salamanca CF, SD Logroñés, RC Deportivo, Sestao River Club, Cultural y Deportiva Leonesa, Gimnástic de Tarragona, CA Osasuna B, CF Rayo Majadahonda, CD Teruel and Real Unión Club.

Some 17 clubs have now signed up to a similar initiative in the highest tier of Spanish football, LaLiga.

The clubs have agreed to setting a minimum number of away tickets at €30 for fans.

English Premier League fans have benefited from an away ticket cap since the 2016-17 season, with the agreement set to be reviewed in 2025.
