Paris 2024 unveils first-ever “on the water” sailing hospitality packages

On Location has launched a series of new hospitality packages for next year’s Olympic Games, including a first-ever “on the water” experience for the Paris 2024 sailing events.

The official hospitality provider for the Olympic and Paralympic Games has announced gold and silver level options which cover the entire track-and-field and sailing programmes. On Location is also offering a rare dining package in the Gustave Eiffel Lounge within the iconic Paris tower.

The Gold Level Rooftop Package for the sailing programme in Marseille offer the opportunity to watch the competitions directly on the water for the first time. A fleet of private boats, led by a professional skipper and sporting expert to provide commentary, will put guests right in the field of play. On Location said the boats will make multiple trips per event to ensure that each guest is able to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime moment, up-close, while still respecting the safety and security of the competitors.

A Gold Level Rooftop Package for a medal session costs €2,750 per person.

The silver package offers fans sea views of the Marina while enjoying local culinary options. The Hospitality lounge is located close to major tourist attractions such as Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica, the Vieux Port and the cliffs of the Calanques.

Luxury comforts

Meanwhile, the On the Finish Line Hospitality for track-and-field offers seats directly in line with the climax of the races at the Stade De France, with gold guaranteeing that position for semi-finals and finals evening sessions.

Gold users can access premium in-lounge hospitality, interactions with athletes, and luxury comforts including gourmet dining, commemorative Olympic Games gifts and access to the historic Parisian private social club, Salon 24. The silver package offers finish-line seats for all morning sessions, on-site lounge access, dining options from an international chef’s menu, champagne upon arrival and full bar service throughout the event.

A Gold On the Finish Line package for the men’s 100m final costs €8,500 per person.

For the Gustave Eiffel Lounge package, guests will have access to a curated hospitality experience surrounded by breathtaking, unobstructed, panoramic views of the city. For those who purchase the private event option, hospitality experiences include French musicians, athlete and celebrity appearances, create-your-own food stations with French cuisine and a guided champagne tasting.

Will Whiston, executive vice-president of Olympic and Paralympic Games for On Location, said: “We are excited to offer guests these once-in-a-lifetime hospitality experiences that disrupt the mould of traditional hospitality. From being in the thick of the action at the finish line of track and field events to watching sailing right on the water, to special entertainment in the Gustave Eiffel Lounge, our guests will leave with lasting memories from their time at the Olympic Games Paris 2024.”

In 2021, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced that On Location would be the only provider of ticket-inclusive travel and hospitality experiences for the Olympic and Paralympic Games between 2024 and 2028 as part of a new global hospitality model.
