US Soccer, the official governing body of the sport in the US, has opted to partner with Ticketmaster in a multi-year deal, with the aim of continued fan growth across the country.

Ticketmaster will support all ticketing initiatives and solutions to enhance the matchday experience for US Soccer, and help drive fan growth and satisfaction.

The US is set to host an impressive line-up of soccer events in the near future, including the 2026 Men’s FIFA World Cup, which it is staging alongside Canada and Mexico.

More pressing events from US Soccer include two upcoming matches in October, with the US men’s national team playing in two friendlies against Germany on October 14 at Pratt & Whitney Stadium in East Hartford, and against Ghana at Nashville’s Geodis Park three days later.

The US women’s national team will then take on Colombia on October 26 at America First Field stadium in Sandy, and again on October 29 at San Diego’s Snapdragon Stadium. Ticketmaster has already begun powering ticket sales for the upcoming US matches.

“Fans are the heartbeat of our business. Supporting our commitment to super-serve our passionate fans, we are excited to partner with Ticketmaster in our efforts to enhance the customer experience,” said US Soccer chief commercial officer, David Wright.

“Ticketmaster has been at the forefront of technology and innovation in this space for years, and is the perfect match as we continue to elevate and evolve as a property.”

US Soccer will further utilise data analytics from Ticketmaster, as well as mobile app integrations, 3D Interactive Seat Map for seat selection, the ability for fans to save tickets to mobile devices and more.

Ticketmaster’s executive vice-president and co-head of sports, Clay Luter, added: “The expansion of our partnership with US Soccer is a testament to our commitment to celebrating passionate soccer fans.

“As the game’s popularity continues to rise, we’re eager to take engagement and connectivity to the next level while actively discovering and connecting with new fans. Through our platform, we’ll deliver must-have ticketing solutions, unique content and innovations that further fuel the interest in soccer across the country.”
