AFC Asian Cup 2023 tickets are now available for fans to purchase, with the football tournament set to take place in Qatar from January 12 to February 10, 2024.

Supporters will now be able to book seats for the 51 matches that will take place during the competition, including opening and final matches at the 88,000-capacity Lusail Stadium, which also hosted the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 final.

Prices for tickets will start as low as QAR 25 (£6/€6/$7) to enable greater access for Asian football fans.

“Qatar is undoubtedly one of the best destinations in the world of sport and together with the Local Organising Committee, the AFC is committed towards bringing to life its Vision of staging a truly world-class competition for our players, teams and fans,” said Asian Football Confederation (AFC) general secretary Datuk Seri Windsor John.

“The launch of ticket sales represents a significant milestone as we strive to engage more fans than ever before.”

Nine stadiums will host the competition, with seven of the venues previously providing the backdrop for matches during Qatar 2022. Lusail, Al Bayt, Khalifa International, Al Janoub, Ahmad bin Ali, Al Thumama and Education City will all host games, while two additional stadiums in Jassim bin Hamad and Abdulla bin Khalifa have been added to the roster.

Jassim Al Jassim, chief executive of AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 Local Organising Committee, added: “The launch of ticket sales marks an important milestone for us, as Qatar gets ready to welcome fans from around the world once again. We anticipate that there will be tremendous interest in the tournament, which will see the best players from across Asia compete for glory.”

Spectators will be able to book up to six tickets per match, and tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Much like last year’s FIFA Men’s World Cup, Qatar’s compact nature means that fans will be able to watch more than one match a day. Fans will also be able to download tickets to their digital wallets for entry into stadiums, while an official resale platform will be introduced for those that can no longer attend.

Travelling fans will be able to benefit from wide-ranging hospitality options from Match Hospitality Asia, which is the exclusive provider of the commercial hospitality programme for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023.

Qatar became the host of the delayed AFC Asian Cup after China relinquished hosting rights in 2022 due to ongoing challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
