Somerset County Cricket Club (SCCC) has revealed the ticket statistics from this summer’s England Women internationals.
While this year saw 4,500 more tickets sold than ever before for England Women matches at the Cooper Associates Ground in Taunton, Somerset, next year will see even more attend international matches. Of the 4,500 tickets, 2,577 had never watched international women’s cricket before.
Ahead of next summer, Somerset has witnessed a 54% increase in ticket sales year-on-year compared to 2023.
There has also been a 37% increase on premium tickets purchased for international women’s matches in 2024 compared to this year.
The additional ticket sales for 2024 have resulted in a 130% increase in revenue associated with international women’s cricket in Taunton.

This year’s Women’s Ashes series between England and Australia saw record sales and attendances, with more than 70,000 tickets sold in the lead up.
Earlier this year, Somerset launched a new ticketing app in collaboration with Tixngo, a division of Secutix.
