The Cleburne Railroaders baseball team has entered into a new collaboration with Tixr, a privately held ticketing and event commerce marketplace, as its official ticketing partner for home games at La Moderna Field.

The team, which plays in the American Association of Professional Baseball, claimed that the deal represents its commitment to enhancing fan experiences.

It further claimed that ticket processes will be revolutionised, with Tixr providing a new platform for fans looking to attend matches.

“We are very excited to bring Tixr’s unique offerings and advanced technology to the city of Cleburne and the fans of the Railroaders,” said Tixr vice-president of sports, Nate Liberman.

“As partners of the Railroaders, we are deeply committed to delivering a cutting-edge best-in-class ticketing experience to engage and meet the demands of today’s fans for years to come.”

Currently, fans can buy half season tickets for $375 (£293/€345) or a full season pass for $675.

Individual game tickets are set to be released closer to the season start, with the Railroaders hosting three-time champions the Winnipeg Goldeyes in a six-game series from May 9-14.

Tixr operates in the music, comedy, and food and beverage spaces as well as sport.

It is currently offering packages to the inaugural E1 Series powerboat race in Jeddah this weekend as well as festivals across the United States.

Tixr is headquartered in Santa Monica, California and claims to be “born from a fan-focused frame of mind”.
