Paris 2024 has announced a ‘surprise ticketing phase’ which will begin on February 8, with the Olympic Games set to begin in less than six months.

Tickets for all sports will be on sale, including equestrian events at the Château de Versailles, fencing in Grand Palais or tennis at Roland-Garros Stadium.

While tickets for every sport will be available to purchase from this date, some options may be in limited numbers. Some 95% of the new tickets on sale will be for events taking place in Île-de-France, with 45% costing less than €100 (£85/$109).

The latest sales phase will be open to all, without a draw, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for both the Olympic and Paralympic Games will be available, with tickets for the Paralympic Closing Ceremony at Stade de France on September 8 starting at just €45.

Further tickets for the Paralympic Games are currently available through the Paris 2024 ticketing platform, with prices starting at €15 for events including Para athletics, wheelchair tennis and blind football.

A maximum of 30 Olympic tickets can be purchased by the same ticketing account, with previous orders included in the total.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will take place July 26 through August 11, while the Paralympic Games will run from August 28 to September 8.
