SeatGeek renews with Championship club Middlesbrough

Ticketing marketplace SeatGeek has renewed its partnership with English Championship club Middlesbrough, after five seasons of working together.

The renewal sees SeatGeek continue as the club’s primary ticketing technology partner.

Middlesbrough has been in the midst of modernising the digital ticketing experience at the 34,742-capacity Riverside Stadium (pictured), by implementing mobile season tickets and match tickets.

“When Middlesbrough approached us in 2019, our focus was elevating the fan experience and optimising customer service using our powerful ticketing technology,” said Peter Joyce, managing director, EMEA at SeatGeek.

“Since then, I’m delighted that we have not only met but exceeded the club’s expectations for an enhanced match day experience. We’re thrilled to continue our partnership, equipping the club with the latest technology to deliver an exceptional experience for club staff and all supporters visiting the Riverside Stadium.”

Last month, SeatGeek launched a new product in the form of Next Fan Up, which includes a suite of features such as an AI-powered Smart Pricing tool.

The Smart Pricing tool will enable fans to sell their tickets seamlessly through SeatGeek, securing the best value for their seats. Next Fan Up has been launched in anticipation of the Major League Baseball (MLB) regular season, which begins later this month.
