Tickets for Less (TFL) has been appointed as an authorised ticket marketplace ahead of Major League Baseball’s (MLB) 2024 season.

MLB began designating ticketing companies as authorised marketplaces at the start of the 2023 season.

TFL also has several multi-year ticketing deals in place with MLB teams as an authorised marketplace, including the Cincinnati Reds and Kansas City Royals.

“Last year, MLB announced a new ecosystem for ticket resale companies in an effort to balance access and fan engagement,” said Adam Rossbach, president at TFL.

“We’re proud to be named an authorised ticket marketplace of the league, and we’re confident that we’ll help connect our partners to more fans.”

TFL also signed a deal with the American Association of Professional Baseball’s Kansas City Monarchs earlier this week.

Elsewhere, this week saw SeatGeek sign deals with a further 10 MLB teams as an official resale marketplace.

Teams included the Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves, Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles, Colorado Rockies and Milwaukee Brewers.
