Ascot Racecourse, home of notable British horse racing events including Royal Ascot, has praised its partnership with Ticketmaster over the last 12 months.
Royal Ascot attracts more than 250,000 guests over five days every year, meaning the transition to Ticketmaster was no small feat.
A dedicated team has been responsible for driving revenue across various ticketing products for the racecourse. This includes general admission, experiences and race sponsorships.
“It’s absolutely key that we work in partnership with a ticketing provider that makes the customer journey seamless so that guests are fully focused on having a fantastic day here at the races,” said Rob Paddon (pictured), head of sales at Ascot Racecourse.
Paddon said that it had been “a great first 12 months”.
Aside from Ticketmaster’s technological capabilities, Paddon has praised the support from the ticketing company.
“From weekly calls, on-site support from our account manager during admission launches and even post-launch support, we have a fantastic relationship with not only our account manager but also the wider client account management team,” Paddon said.
Elsewhere, Ascot has also benefited from the marketing offered by Ticketmaster.
“We have regular contact and support who are hugely supportive of our plans and upcoming events,” added Paddon.
This year’s Royal Ascot will take place from June 18-22.
