Chelsea and Arsenal are the two Premier League clubs that offer the most expensive single-match tickets, with the latter charging as much as £97.
A report by the Daily Express newspaper studied the most expensive single-match tickets across all 20 Premier League clubs, with Arsenal coming out on top ahead of London rival Chelsea, whose most expensive ticket is £87.
At the other end of the scale, Huddersfield Town offers the ‘cheapest’ most expensive ticket at £30. That is £10 less than the next cheapest, which is offered by newly-promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers, whose £40 is matched by Burnley.
Last season’s top two in the Premier League – Manchester City and Manchester United – sit tenth and ninth respectively in this particular table, with both clubs’ most expensive ticket costing £53.
Clubs whose most expensive ticket costs less than £50 include Everton, Bournemouth, Watford and newly-promoted Cardiff City. Perhaps surprisingly, newly-promoted Fulham offer the seventh-most expensive single-match ticket at £65.
Tottenham’s most expensive ticket ranks fourth on the list at £75, although this is for matches at Wembley Stadium. The club is yet to move into its new 62,000-seat, state-of-the-art stadium and recent reports have suggested it may be months before the new ground opens.
