SecuTix has appointed sports and entertainment sector veteran Andy Duckworth (pictured right) to lead business development.
Duckworth joins the ticketing company from English Premiership rugby club Saracens where he held the role of chief commercial and marketing officer.
During his time at Saracens, he doubled attendance revenue and oversaw a 130% increase in season ticket holders.
Duckworth said: “As a client of SecuTix when I was at Saracens, I was impressed by the team’s ambition to create consumer driven strategies and deliver transformational results.
“My focus will be on creating long-term, strategic partnerships with our clients. Using the latest technological innovations, I’m looking forward to helping clients improve engagement levels with their ticket holders and transform the overall fan experience.”
Elsewhere, Jon Hancock has left Wembley Stadium after more than 12 years as senior ticketing manager to join Ticketmaster UK as head of client services.
He said on LinkedIn: “It’s been an absolute pleasure to spend the last 12 years under the arch at Wembley Stadium. In my time I’ve had the privilege to work with some incredibly talented people on some of the biggest shows and sporting events the country has ever seen.”
Accesso Technology has named Fern MacDonald (pictured left) as chief financial officer. She will also join the board with immediate effect.
MacDonald has served as senior vice-president of finance at Accesso since May 2018.
