Forum partners with Europe’s leader Eventim

We’re delighted to announce a partnership between Europe’s biggest ticketing business, CTS Eventim, and Europe’s biggest ticketing meeting, TheTicketingBusiness Forum 2018.

Through the partnership, senior executives from Eventim’s numerous European divisions – including Billetlugen (Denmark), Lippupiste (Finland), Eventim UK (UK), TicketOne (Italy), Venuepoint (Norway/Sweden), along with senior management team from its headquarters in Germany – will be with us in Manchester, 17-18 April.

Based in Bremen, CTS Eventim is Europe’s largest ticketing retailer. In its latest financial statements its group revenue grew by 16 per cent year-on-year to €489m in the six months to June 30, while normalised EBITDA increased by 14 per cent to €66m – making it also Europe’s most profitable ticketing company.

Last month CTS Eventim entered the Italian concert promotion market through the acquisition of a majority stake in promoter Vertigo.

Founder Klaus-Peter Schulenberg reports: “Given how business has progressed so far in 2017, we are confident that we will achieve our targets for the year. Compared to fiscal 2016, we expect higher revenues and operating earnings. We also intend to continue implementing our growth strategy successfully. This includes not only organic initiatives, such as boosting our eCommerce business, but also examining prospects for further acquisitions.”

“We are delighted to welcome Eventim’s senior management teams from across Europe to next year’s Forum,” says Angelina Tennino, co-founder of TheTicketingBusiness. “As the industry’s most inclusive ticketing meeting we will be hosting the smallest of startups to Europe’s ticketing industry leader.”

Further updates from the partnership – including speakers and technology insights – are in the pipeline.
