Eugene Carr, founder of Patron Technology, has stepped into the newly created position of president in a management reshuffle designed to propel the firm’s expansion.
Marc Jenkins, the former chief operating officer at Learfield Communications, will replace Carr as chief executive.
In his new role, Carr will be directly responsible for the operations of each of the portfolio companies and future acquisitions, ensuring the continued delivery of outstanding client service and innovation in the live events market.

Under the investment umbrella of Providence Strategic Growth, Patron Technology now includes ShowClix and Ticketleap and is actively engaged in building out a broader platform that addresses other sectors of the ticketing & CRM market in the US and abroad.
New CEO Jenkins is a long-time executive in the sports and entertainment industry. In his previous role, he was responsible for the marketing solutions, brand solutions, and venue solutions business units.

Patron’s leadership team also consists of Brian Arnone, chief revenue officer, as well as chief technology officer Nate Good, Dave Esposito as SVP engineering, and Anupam Palit, chief financial officer.
