Vibe targets new app through funding round

Vibe Tickets, a UK-based ticket exchange platform, is offering 10 per cent of its equity through a crowdfunding pitch via Crowdcube.

The platform, which was praised by tycoon Sir Richard Branson at this year’s Virgin Media Business #VOOM event, where it finished runner-up in the ‘Start Up’ category, is already half way towards reaching its target of £600,000 (€715,000 / $800,000) in funding.

Vibe, which was founded three years ago, plans to use the new investment to release a new version of its Android application, upgrade its website and help maintain growth.

The company allows users to sell unwanted tickets or purchase them from other fans at face value.

Luke Massie (pictured), Vibe’s founder, said: “We’re opening up Vibe Tickets for people to invest in our vision and share in our success. We are making 10 per cent of Vibe Tickets available through Crowdcube and are looking for fans, followers, friends and venture capitalists to invest anything from £10 towards our target of £600,000.”
