Saints launch text ticket platform

New Orleans Saints fans are now able to buy tickets by simply responding to a text message thanks to a new deal between the NFL team and platform ReplyBuy.

Fans who sign up to Mobile Fast Pass will receive personalised notifications when seats become available, thus enabling them to purchase tickets on-demand in a matter of seconds with no links to click or extra steps required. The faster fans respond to buy, the better their seat locations will be, according to the Saints and ReplyBuy. Upon purchase, electronic tickets will be delivered to a fan’s phone instantly and then can be scanned at the event.

Arizona-headquartered ReplyBuy – which has similar deals in place with a number of other major franchises – said the solution delivers “the kind of instant gratification that today’s fans desire”.

“We are thrilled to partner with ReplyBuy,” said Michael Stanfield, the Saints’ senior vice-president of sales. “Enhancing our game day experience is a top-line priority and goal for us and ReplyBuy delivers a unique service in a platform that is convenient for today’s fan, one that we expect will provide our fans with a simpler means for buying tickets that become available to Saints games at the last minute.”

The Saints’ partnership with ReplyBuy will enable fans to receive notice when tickets become available last minute from allotments previously reserved for the visiting team even when games had been previously announced as sold out.

“It’s a tremendous honour to partner with a world class organisation like the New Orleans Saints,” said Josh Manley, chief executive of ReplyBuy. “We have a core belief that making it easier to engage with fans on-demand while at the same time (and more importantly) completely reducing the buying friction creates a scenario where everyone wins. The decision to introduce this new program further demonstrates the Saints progressive thinking and a mentality of putting the fans first.”
