TopTix Sport to power Doncaster’s new ticket platform

TopTix Sport has agreed a partnership with Club Doncaster through which the group that operates Doncaster Rovers and other sports teams will push a range of initiatives via its SRO4 ticketing solution.

The new partnership covers all Club Doncaster affiliated sports including English League Two football club Rovers, Doncaster Rugby League Club and Doncaster Belles with one single system and online platform in place to support all activity under the Club Doncaster umbrella.

The Keepmoat stadium club said it is planning to drive new initiatives and deliver a host of new benefits within the club and to its supporters.

“We are delighted to be working in partnership with Club Doncaster,” TopTix Sport managing director Peter Joyce said.

“The management team had a very clear set of requirements focusing on pushing the boundaries with new technology to improve the supporter experience and increasing efficiencies across the various departments within the club’s operation.

“We look forward to working closely with Club Doncaster to plan new innovations and functionality that will help drive the operational side of the business forward and enable the club to deliver a range of benefits to supporters.”

The TopTix-powered site enables supporters of all Doncaster teams to access and manage their own records, as well as purchase tickets, memberships and other club products.
Liam Scully, chief operating officer of Club Doncaster, added:

“We always strive to deliver a quality service to supporters and we felt that it was a key operational requirement to carry out a review of the ticketing services we offer and understand which solutions were in the marketplace to best support our needs.

“The new ticketing website is fully mobile responsive so works across a range of devices from desktop computers, tablet devices and mobile phones and we will be able to roll out a series of incentives over the season such as package offers, pricing benefits and the ability for disabled fans to buy their tickets along with carer tickets on-line.”
