Online ticket marketplace Fanxchange has partnered with daily fantasy sports giant DraftKings.
As official live event ticketing partner, Fanxchange will provide eight million DraftKings customers with access to live sporting events through exclusive promotional assets across DraftKings’ web, mobile, DK Live and DKTV platforms.
To launch the partnership DraftKings is offering customers a free-to-play fantasy contest in which they will have the opportunity to win cash prizes and Fanxchange credits. All entrants in the contest are eligible for discounts on Fanxchange, including 75 per cent off fees associated with their ticket purchases.
“We know that 60 per cent of our customers watch more live sports since they started playing fantasy contests on our platform,” said Jeremy Elbaum, vice-president of strategic partnerships at DraftKings. “This partnership lets us tap into our customers’ unrivalled passion and bring it to life.”
Toronto-headquartered Fanxchange, as well as providing a marketplace, is also a B2B service that provides white label live event ticketing solutions for major loyalty programmes, financial institutions, travel providers, hotel operators, e-commerce marketplaces and distribution partners.
