Fandango is expanding into the UK and Canada for the first time after announcing the acquisition of international operator

Through the deal, terms of which were not revealed, will join online movie ticketing brands Fandango, Flixster, Ingresso and Fandango Latin America already under the Fandango umbrella.

The acquisition of, which will continue to operate from its headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida, is expected to close before the end of the year.

Fandango said the addition of will further its goal of full coverage across the US, while also giving it access to several new markets, including the UK.
