Ticketmaster has renewed its partnership deal with Got Event, the Swedish city of Gothenburg’s largest events and arena company.
Under the agreement, Ticketmaster will handle ticketing for the firm’s venues, which include Scandinavium, the 43,000-capacity Ullevi, Lisebergshallen and Bravida Arena.
The new deal will run for a further three years.
Lotta Nibell, chief executive at Got Event, said: “It’s great to have the opportunity to continue our work with Ticketmaster.
“As a business that runs over 400 events annually, it is of utmost importance to have a partner capable of managing all different kinds of ticket sales to fans across Sweden and beyond.”
Kristian Seljeset, chief executive of Ticketmaster Sweden, added: “Got Events provides the magic of live entertainment to hundreds of thousands of fans every year.
“We’re very proud to have not only renewed our partnership with Got Event but strengthened it with the addition of its sports club ticket sales.”
Got Event attracts more than two million visitors to its arenas annually. The firm operates around 400 events each year, with an annual turnover of around SEK 160m (£14m/€16.4m/$19m).
