Ticketmaster in Taylor Swift ticket screenshot warning

Ticketmaster has warned Taylor Swift fans in the UK and Ireland not to share screenshots of their concert tickets ahead of next summer’s Reputation tour.

Hundreds of thousands of tickets have already been bought by excited followers of the US sensation, with extra tickets to become available tomorrow (Friday).

Ahead of the sale, Ticketmaster told fans to be careful to cover order numbers, codes and confirmation numbers on any pictures of tickets.

Ticketmaster tweeted: “#Swifties! We know you’re excited (so are we) but please be careful when posting #TaylorSwiftTix screenshots: – Cover any order numbers – #CoverTheCode on any pics of tickets – Cover confirmation numbers.”

Ticketmaster also warns that unofficial sellers may engage in ’speculative listing’ by listing tickets online before they go on sale.

“Fans should not trust resellers claiming to have tickets before the onsale has even begun,” it said.

As part of her global Reputation tour, Swift will play two gigs each at Wembley Stadium in London, Manchester’s Etihad Stadium and Croke Park in Dublin in June 2018.
