German Bundesliga football club Hertha Berlin is offering one fan the chance to get a club tattoo that will include a lifelong season ticket to its Olympiastadion Berlin.
The permanent team branding is more than just showing loyalty to the club, it also includes a QR code that can be scanned as a season pass.
The tattoo will grant the supporter access to every single home game it ever plays.
The club said: “No club gets under your skin like Hertha BSC!”
Hertha is giving all its fans the opportunity to win the tattoo-cum-season-ticket by sending the club a picture, video or other creative idea why they deserve to win before February 8.
The tattoo itself, as can be seen in the video below (in German), will show the outline of the city of Berlin, with the Olympiastadion and the Hertha badge prominent. Alongside them will be a QR code that will allow entry to every home game. The tattoo artist for the project will be “Love is Pain”.

Last summer, Spanish second-tier football club SD Huesca had a similar idea in which it offered free season tickets to fans who agree to get a tattoo of the team crest.
The Spanish club said: “Painted on your skin is the image that inspires you and highlights the values of your team. Show your love to our colours, share your devotion and the heart to continue. All together, we can build the Barça feeling.”
