NewC is targeting international expansion after achieving success in the Danish football market.
Ticketing system Roboticket, NewC’s partner, has been integrated by 16 football and speedway clubs across Denmark, Germany and Poland.
The company has sold more than 5.5 million tickets across all of its clients, including one million for FC Copenhagen, and around 215,000 contactless member cards for Lech Poznań.
Roboticket designs an online ticket shop, which is fully customised for every club.
It also adds a branded interface, with the club’s logotypes and colours, which would be located under the club’s subdomain to make it more accessible for fans.
The Roboticket application gives the club potential to build its own e-commerce, including single or season tickets, car park or any type of combined package.
Mikkel Bjerre, FC Copenhagen ticketing manager, said: “Roboticket goes far beyond single tickets sale and suits perfectly for our complex needs.”
Roboticket is a cloud-based web application that uses Amazon AWS infrastructure, meaning it can be scaled up for increased demand and large events.
NewC claims that all the clubs using Roboticket experienced an increase of internet ticket sales with up to 80 per cent of the total sales coming through the platform.
The company currently works with several Superliga top-tier football teams including FC Copenhagen, Lech Poznań, FC Midtjylland, KS Lechia, KS Leszno and Ostrovia.
