SeatGeek live with Pelicans and Saints

New Orleans major league teams the Pelicans and Saints have completed their transition to SeatGeek.

The NBA basketball team the Pelicans said the transition would create a “dramatically enhanced primary ticketing experience that will be innovative, effective, efficient and mobile friendly for fans.”

The Saints, an NFL American football franchise, said SeatGeek will make it easier for the team’s supporters to access and manage tickets to their games.

The deals, first announced last November, are SeatGeek’s first primary deals in the NFL and NBA.

Both sets of New Orleans-based fans will be able to use the SeatGeek platform to view and buy tickets, as well as send tickets to a friend.

Allowing fans to buy tickets in several different places is all part of SeatGeek’s open approach to ticketing.

For both teams, fans must link their season ticket holder account with the new SeatGeek account.

All season ticket holders accounts will receive an email with steps to link their account to SeatGeek and set up information before the start of the 2018 NFL and NBA seasons.

Last week, SeatGeek became the first firm to begin offering sports tickets directly through messaging app Snapchat.

The mobile-focused ticketing platform provided US Snapchat users with the opportunity to purchase tickets to a Major League Soccer (MLS) match directly in the app last month.
