TickX partners two more basketball teams

Event ticket search engine TickX has added to its growing sports portfolio by partnering with British Basketball League teams Radisson RED Glasgow Rocks and Cheshire Phoenix.

The Rocks play their home games at Glasgow’s Emirates Arena (pictured), with the Phoenix playing at Ellesmere Port Sports Village.

Both of the teams’ home fixtures will now feature on the TickX search engine platform, providing the Rocks and the Phoenix with a wider and larger marketing channel opportunity to attract more fans.

TickX pulls results from more than 75 ticket-selling platforms, including Ticketmaster, Eventim and See Tickets, and displays them in one place.

Adam Day, director at Cheshire Phoenix, said: “Cheshire Phoenix are committed to raising the profile of British Basketball and introducing new fans to the sport. This partnership with TickX will help do just that. After winning the BBL Cup earlier this year Cheshire Phoenix are looking to build on that success and increased attendances to add to the magnificent atmosphere generated by its vocal fan base will help to achieve that goal.”

Last month, TickX partnered with fellow BBL outfit the Leicester Riders, along with Elite Ice Hockey League team Manchester Storm.

TickX also allows customers to find and buy tickets to over 125,000 events and attractions, including gigs, comedy, theatre, festivals and club nights. The service is available across the UK, Ireland and Spain online or via the TickX app, with further expansion across Europe coming soon.
