NZ stars SIX60 hand out priority ticket codes at concert

SIX60, New Zealand’s most popular rock band, has given fans the chance to snap up priority tickets for an Auckland concert next year by handing out unique access codes at their sold-out Western Springs Stadium gig over the weekend.

SIX60 joined a select group of acts including David Bowie and the Rolling Stones to sell out the 50,000 arena on Saturday, with fans facing tough competition to secure the in-demand tickets.

The band announced during the concert they would be returning to the venue on February 22, 2020.

Fans were handed unique codes on entry to the weekend’s show that allow them to secure priority tickets via the SIX60 All Access app.

The tickets can be secured for $5, with the remainder to be paid by the end of April.

General admission tickets are going for between $69.90 and $99.90, while VIP tickets range from $249.90 to $279.90.

As well as occasional concerts and festivals, Western Springs Stadium is primarily used for rugby union matches during the winter and for speedway during the summer.
