Eventim UK teams up with Entertainers, Brentwood Live

Eventim UK has become the primary ticket agent of UK-wide concert and theatre promoter Entertainers and its Essex venue, Brentwood Live.

Through the partnership, Eventim has centralised the Entertainers’ ticketing system and helped it reach new audiences through its targeted marketing support.

Entertainers, which was founded 25 years ago by Michael Taylor, is widely regarded as the market leader in tribute acts. It has been responsible for productions such as Fastlove, The Magic of Motown, Lost In Music and Big Girls Don’t Cry.

Since 2016, the company has expanded from 400 shows a year to over a 1,000 in the UK alone, as well as working around the world with tours in more than 15 countries.

Lisa Brown, sales manager at Eventim UK, said: “We are delighted to be working with the Entertainers as their primary ticketing partner. At Eventim we want to help support the company’s goals by not only providing a nationwide platform for their events, supported by targeted and bespoke marketing campaigns, but by offering a partnership where the Entertainers can see Eventim as an extension of their team to share ideas and concepts in order to explore new revenue streams and joint ventures in the future.”

The 2,000-capacity Brentwood Live venue, previously called Brentwood Centre, has hosted the likes of Jimmy Carr (pictured), Al Murray and the Lady Boys of Bangkok.

Taylor added: “For me Eventim have the passion, vision, and expertise to help achieve our goals, to create great new product, take it to market and put it on the map. I’m very proud of our new partnership and looking forward to the future.”
