Historic Barcelona concert hall continues with SecuTix

Palau de la Música Catalana, a historic concert hall in Barcelona, has renewed its partnership with software-as-a-service platform for ticketing and audience management, SecuTix.

Palau de la Música is a UNESCO World Heritage site and celebrates Catalan culture with classical music concerts.

The contract was won by a public tender and Palau de la Música will utilise Secutix’s S-360 solution for issuing tickets and subscriptions. It will also be used to generate packages and cross-selling among other functionalities.

Secutix’s platform has CRM and Business Intelligence modules built in, meaning Palau de la Música can garner more information on its audience members and target them according to their preferences.

This will allow to build closer interaction with customers, which is complimented by automated campaigns, offering a personalised experience to individuals.

Darío Fernández, audience director at the Palau de la Música Catalana, said: “SecuTix’s solution fits perfectly with our ambitions as a live concert hall. Able to implement a highly flexible management of events, process large volumes of important data and record trends, the solution fulfils two major goals: a quantitative one to maximise ticket sales and subscriptions; and a qualitative one to learn more about the Palau’s community.

“In 2014, the Palau decided to modernise its sales system with Secutix, and eight years later we are continuing along the same line, relying on the tool and learning and adapting to the ever-changing scenarios that live venues have had to tackle.”

Jorge Colomar, general manager of SecuTix Spain, added: “At SecuTix we’re delighted to have renewed this contract in order to continue providing the Palau de la Mùsica Catalana with our platform, which can manage the capacity of all its numbered venues from a single system.

“This showcases the professionalism, reliability and quality of our service, as over the previous years SecuTix has been the best partner for the digitisation of the Palau de la Música.”
