Tickets for the second National Football League (NFL) match in Germany between the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts at Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park sold out almost instantly, with nearly three million requests for tickets.
Last month, tickets for the NFL game between the Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs at Deutsche Bank Park sold out in just 15 minutes.
The Dolphins will take on the Chiefs on November 5 with the Patriots facing the Colts on November 12.
According to the Boston Globe, 700,000 fans had signed up for the opportunity to purchases tickets to the two games, with three million in a digital queue.
Tickets were available through Ticketmaster.
It was announced earlier this year that Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park would be set to host its first set of NFL regular games.
The stadium has a maximum capacity of 51,500, but this will be reduced to 48,000 for the NFL games.
