Fan XP (FXP), a provider of digital solutions dedicated to fan experience, has acquired bFAN Sports.

bFAN Sports was founded in 2017 by Jean de Boysson, Nicolas Menciere and Guillaume Fallou, and is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application dedicated to fan experience for professional clubs. The solution is utilised by almost 70 clubs across five countries: France, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.

The product is based on proprietary technology and enables clubs to offer fans a mobile experience combining services, content and loyalty programmes. For the clubs, bFAN Sports offers easy integration into their digital cartography with regular updates for Apple and Google mobile environments, and administration tools.

“We are delighted to welcome bFAN Sports to FXP,” said Dang Tran, founder and chief executive of Fan XP.

“With several years’ experience of working with joint customers, the acquisition of bFAN Sports seemed a natural fit with our strategy. It’s also, and above all, the answer our customers have been waiting for, whose daily needs are to collaborate with omni-channel digital players and to be as close as possible to their fans.”

The integration of bFAN Sports into the FXP ecosystem will see the development of new features that will compliment existing offerings. bFAN Sports will continue to be managed by Fallou, as general manager.

Fallou added: “Joining the FXP Network is an obvious step for bFAN Sports: since our creation, we have been committed to providing the fans of our client clubs with everything they have to offer in omni-channel fan experiences, with mobile at the heart of these journeys, promoting engagement and monetisation. The association with FXP enables to accelerate this strategy.”

Fan XP was founded by Tran in 2021 and offers digital tools dedicated to sport, culture and entertainment including: DTC, a ticketing software; NXP, an e-commerce solution; Extent, a payment and financial tracking solution and now bFAN Sports, a fan engagement platform.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
