The Color World Cup – WBA World Tour, which was organised by the World Boxing Association (WBA) and Color Star Technology, has highlighted its success for the first event held in Dubai.

Color Star is an entertainment technology company and helped to organise the championship belt boxing fight, which took place last month. It featured fighters from China, Cameroon, Thailand and Cuba.

The company aided planning and scheduling, and helped to select a venue for the exclusive boxing event. Members of the Dubai royal family attended along with numerous media outlets.

According to broadcasting platforms, the number of viewers watching the boxing bout exceeded four million.

Due to the success of the Color World Cup – WBA World Tour, Color Star is aiming to bring more premier sporting events to the Middle East.

“We are very happy that so many people gave recognition to our competition: not only from the Dubai Royal Family, the WBA and other people from all walks of life, but also from the audience and online viewers,” said chief executive of Color Star, Louis Luo.

“The influence of this competition is still growing, which allows us to bring in huge ticket revenues and commercial income. At the same time, it paves the way for us to organise more international events, all of which will hopefully bring in huge commercial profit for the company.”
