The Military Bowl has selected Tixr as the official ticketing partner for its annual college football postseason game.

The Military Bowl is the fundraising matchup between teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference and the American Athletic Conference at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. Broadcast on ESPN, this year’s game will take place on December 27.

Through the Tixr partnership, Military Bowl fans will have access to a number of the service’s features including Waitlist, which allows fans to reserve tickets for sold-out events. Tixr Rewards, a way for fans to earn rewards by becoming ambassadors for their favourite events using their social media networks, is also utilised.

“Tixr has a reputation for offering modern and innovative ticketing solutions. We are looking forward to partnering with Tixr and providing our fans with a more seamless and user-friendly fan-first experience,” said Steve Beck, the president and executive director of Military Bowl Foundation.

“We are thrilled to utilise Tixr’s advanced technology and fully integrate the new platform into all aspects of the Military Bowl’s ticketing.”

Ticket pre-sales are already live, with the general on sale slated for later this month. Proceeds from the Bowl benefit the USO and Patriot Point, the Military Bowl Foundation’s 294-acre retreat for recovering service members.

“Tixr is thrilled to partner with the Military Bowl for such a meaningful collegiate football game that benefits our service members,” said Nate Liberman, Tixr’s vice-president of sports.

“It is our goal to continue to improve college ticketing and to introduce a modern more efficient ticketing system to athletics as a whole. We are excited to offer the Military Bowl and fans of two storied programs a new innovative way of ticketing.”

Tixr has recently announced ticketing partnerships with the Portland Trail Blazers’ New G League Affiliate Rip City Remix, the International Tennis Hall of Fame, and Mercer University’s NCAA Division I Athletics.
