Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas has signed a new shirt sponsorship agreement with Ingresse, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club’s existing ticketing partner.

The deal will run until the end of the season, with the Ingresse brand to be displayed on the lower back of the shirt.

Ingresse is a technology and solutions company for events and entertainment across Latin America. In 2023, it has already sold more than 4.1 million tickets across its portfolio of events in Brazil.

The sponsorship began with Botafogo’s away match at Nabi Abi Chedid Stadium against RB Bragantino, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

“Ingresse is already a partner of SAF, believes in our project and chose Botafogo to make its first sports sponsorship in its history, which makes us extremely proud,” said Rafael Ganem, commercial director of SAF (Sociedade Anônima do Futebol) Botafogo.

“We will enhance this partnership even more and we will be very successful together.”

Gabriel Benarrós, chief executive of Ingresse, added: “We’re coming to stay. This sponsorship action is a symbol of our long-term commitment to the sports sector. Everything that is live and thrills is part of our business, so after reaching the leadership in the music market, moving into football was a natural path.

“Now fans can enjoy an easy and safe way to buy tickets. The partnership with Botafogo opened this new universe to us and we have lived intensely every moment with the club. We are together with our partners and fans.”
