World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has announced the onsale dates for WWE SmackDown and WWE Backlash France, which are set to be held at the newly opened LDLC Arena (pictured) in Lyon in May.
WWE Backlash France will be the first-ever premium live event to be staged in France by the sports entertainment giant, while it will also be the first time that WWE SmackDown will be broadcast from France.
The two wrestling events will take place on May 3 and 4, and were first announced last month ahead of the opening of LDLC Arena.
LDLC Arena – located in the Décines-Charpieu region of Lyon – is France’s largest indoor arena outside of Paris and opened with a basketball match. The venue was designed by architecture firm Populous.
Presales for two-day combo tickets will be available from January 10, while the general sale will begin on January 12.
Fans are able to register now to attain access to the presale offer, while the general onsale will be held through Ticketmaster France.
SmackDown and Backlash France priority pass ticket packages will be available shortly through On Location, including premium seating, pre-show hospitality with WWE Superstar appearances, ringside photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise and more.
On Location first partnered with WWE in February last year.
