Somerset CCC claims first with member ticket exchange platform

Somerset County Cricket Club is set to launch a member ticket exchange platform, which the outfit claims is the first of its kind in English domestic cricket.

The new ticket exchange will benefit both members and supporters that have missed out on a seat, with 2024 members able to re-sell tickets for sold out Vitality Blast T20 matches. Members that are unable to attend the T20 fixtures will be able to re-sell their tickets, meaning supporters will have a second chance at securing a seat.

Further benefits of a full Somerset CCC membership include watching free County Championship matches at Worcestershire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Hampshire, Glamorgan, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Essex and Warwickshire in 2024. This is all thanks to the County Partnerships scheme, and attendees just have to present a SCCC membership card. The entry is valid for all games except the fixtures in which Somerset is participating.

Additionally, Somerset members will have access to a ‘Mates Rates’ promotion, which will allow members to purchase additional tickets for friends to attend a Vitality Blast fixture at a discounted price.

Ahead of the 2024 season, Somerset is set to launch a new membership hub to keep members up to date with the latest news and benefits.

Somerset launched a new ticketing app in collaboration with TixNGo, a division of Secutix, in February last year.

The app is compatible on both iOS and Android operating systems, and ticket-holders are able to present their phone to be scanned at the gate in order to gain access to the Cooper Associates County Ground.
