The National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Big 12 Conference has unveiled its Basketball All-Access Pass, a new membership programme for fans of the men’s competition.

The membership includes premium and priority options, and is set to provide fans with the opportunity to purchase the same seat location for the Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship each year until 2031.

The pass will only apply to 12% of venue seating with the remainder being unchanged.

The programme will debut for next year’s Championship which is set to see Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah all making their first appearance in the tournament. Dates are yet to be announced for the event.

“We are thrilled to be the home of the best basketball in college athletics. As the Big 12 continues to grow, we are committed to elevating fan experience and access,” said Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark.

“The Basketball All-Access Pass program provides our fans with a unique opportunity to purchase preferred seats for years to come, as well as exclusive benefits and second-to-none access throughout our Basketball Championships.”

The All-Access Pass Programme is being operated in partnership with global experiences company Legends.

Last year, Legends began conducting a fan survey of 12,000 Big 12 basketball fans to collect feedback on elements surrounding the Championship including ticketing, seating, and fan experience.

A key takeaway was fans’ desire for more premium seating opportunities which led to the creation of the All-Access Pass.

Membership will be offered in two tiers – premium and priority. Premium membership will provide access to a floor seat or premium lower level seats each year for all sessions.

The priority membership will only provide premium lower level seats for the sessions in which their team is participating in, as well as loaded tickets for concessions.

Pricing for the two options is still being finalised but the waitlist is open for fans to secure their place in the queue.
