Venue complex Connexin Live Hull is targeting a new era for tech innovation after enlisting AXS as its new ticketing partner.

More than 500,000 visitors have been to events at the venue in England since it opened in 2018.

Connexin Live believes the move to AXS will streamline the ticket-buying process for customers, offering a user-friendly platform designed to make purchases easier than before. The venue hopes to utilise AXS’s technology to deter touts.

“We are thrilled to be working with AXS as our new ticket partner,” said Connexin Hull general manager Sam Ryder.

“We are a young venue, but since we opened in 2018 we feel Connexin Live Hull has made a real impact within the local community.

“With AXS’s innovative technology and commitment to excellence, we’re confident that this partnership will elevate the overall event experience for our guests, further cementing us as the ultimate destination for live entertainment in the area.”

The partnership comes with enhanced security measures aimed at preventing fraud, such as bot prevention and waiting rooms, and the digital AXS Mobile ID system.

“We are thrilled to be working with ASM, and welcome these esteemed venues to AXS,” said managing director for AXS UK Chris Lipscomb.

“This announcement not only reflects our long-standing commitment to provide the best consumer ticketing experiences, but also allows us to continue revolutionising the ticketing industry alongside powerhouse ASM Global.

“With a history of delivering top-level shows and incredible new talent, we’re excited to help bring even more special moments to these venues across the UK.”

AXS has also recently been entrusted to carry out ticketing operations at the York Barbican and Playhouse Whitley Bay.
