The New York Knicks and Rangers are reportedly set to maintain their current season ticket prices.
According to the New York Post, the National Basketball Association (NBA) side and National Hockey League (NHL) team will not increase prices for the 2024-25 seasons. The two franchises share the 19,500-capacity Madison Square Garden.
An MSG spokesperson told the outlet: “We are pleased to offer our loyal Knicks and Rangers season ticket members no price increase for their 2024-25 season tickets.”
The report added that both the Knicks and the Rangers have often avoided increasing the price of season tickets if one, or both, miss the playoffs. The policy dates back some 25 years.
Tomorrow (Friday) the Knicks will face the Sacramento Kings, before playing the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. The Milwaukee Bucks will host the Knicks on Monday.
The New York Rangers will play the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday before facing the Montreal Canadiens on Monday.
