Euroleague Basketball has teamed up with secondary ticketing site StubHub to boost the fan purchasing experience for the 2019 Final Four championship in Spain.

Under the agreement, StubHub has been named as the official ticketing partner, official fan-to-fan marketplace, and official VIP ticket sales partner of the Final Four.

Rafael Ortiz, director of business development and partnerships at StubHub International, said: “We are incredibly pleased to be the exclusive primary ticketing partner and official marketplace for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four, as well as official VIP ticket sales partner of Euroleague Basketball. The popularity of basketball is huge around the world and we are seeing more fans travel internationally to see their favourite teams.

“StubHub International is happy to be connecting fans to these amazing experiences with partners such as Matchroom Boxing, Northampton Saints, Everton FC and our US partners like the Philadelphia 76ers and MLB. What’s more, StubHub Corporate team has had a great season working as an authorised agent for Real Madrid Corporate Hospitality so it’s an exciting time for StubHub customers.”

The 2017-18 Euroleague season saw more than 2.2 million people attending games for 16 of the top European basketball teams. The 2019 Euroleague Final Four is to be held in May at Fernando Buesa Arena in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.

Roser Queraltó, Euroleague Basketball’s chief business officer said: “We are delighted to be working with StubHub as our official ticketing partner.
