Moment House Japan launches with host of new shows

Moment House has expanded into Japan through its partnership with digital ticketing platform Zaiko and has also announced its first virtual shows.

Zaiko invested in US live media platform Moment House in September and has now announced its first round of virtual shows, available via Moment House Japan.

Moment House was founded in 2019 and has hosted online events from acts such as Halsey, Tame Impala, St. Vincent and KSI. In two years, the platform has sold over one million tickets in 168 countries.

Moment House Japan has now released its upcoming virtual shows showcasing talent from across Asia. LA-based Japanese artist Jin Akanishi will be showcasing his first “online digital experience” on 25 December.

Akanishi told Billboard Japan: “We will deliver our first online concert to everyone in the world on Saturday, December 25. I haven’t performed online so far, but since it’s the Japanese launch of Moment House, a global brand, I thought it was the best stage for me to show off for the first time.

“I hope we can deliver online productions that can not be seen in regular live performances from overseas. I would be happy if I could enjoy Christmas night with you.”

In January, Moment House Japan will also present a performance from Korean-American rapper Jessi, and a virtual gig from Thai singers Billkin and PP Krit.
