The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign has appointed SeatGeek as its new official ticket marketplace for Fighting Illini Athletics, replacing the previous partnership with StubHub.
Fans that can no longer make a game will be able to list and sell their tickets through SeatGeek. Fans will be able to manage and sell their tickets by using SeatGeek’s mobile experience, integrated with the Illinois Athletics digital ticketing platform.
SeatGeek will support fans in pricing their tickets, sending notifications when the tickets have sold, transferring them to the buyer and sending payout within 48 hours of the event.
All tickets listed on SeatGeek are fully verified.
Illinois Football season ticket-holders and single-game ticket purchases will have access to the SeatGeek integration through their Fighting Illini account, once tickets are available to download in August.
