Formula 1 fans conducting their shop in wholesale store Costco may be able to pick up tickets to this year’s United States Grand Prix at the Circuit Of The Americas (COTA) alongside their large quantity of goods.

Three-day grounds passes have been spotted in Costco for the October race, which takes place in Austin, Texas.

And while you may have to be a member to shop at Costco, it could pay dividends for F1 fans looking to secure tickets to this year’s race.

The ‘members only’ price stands at $349 (£274/€318), and will not include a seat but fans will be able to wonder around the circuit and watch the action from general admission areas.

It does seem to be a good price as COTA’s website is currently listing general admission three-day passes for $475. Though these passes are listed with ‘Super Stage’ lawn access to watch the accompanying concerts from The Killers on Friday night and Queen + Adam Lambert on Saturday night.

Upgrades for the concerts are available at $89 for The Killers and $129 for Queen + Adam Lambert.

Vouchers are limited to five per membership and redeemable through FEVO. F1 fans will then have to pick up their wristbands from the ticket office.

The US GP will take place October 20-22.
