K-pop artist Ailee is set to hold her first solo concert in Hong Kong later this month, performing at the 1,850-capacity MacPherson Stadium.

The solo concert is schedule for August 29.

Tickets are priced a HKD 980 (£99/€114/$126), HKD 1280 and HKD 1680 and are available to purchase through KKTix. Tickets for the concert went on sale today (Monday).

American-born, South Korea-based Ailee was originally signed under Muzo Entertainment, an independent agency in New York, while uploading videos of herself singing to YouTube.

Ailee then moved to South Korea in 2010, and after an audition was signed by YMC Entertainment.

While this may be her first solo concert in Hong Kong, Ailee has previously performed at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), which used to be held there. In 2012, Aimee was the opening act for the awards ceremony, where she also won the Best New Female Artist award.
